Claimed virus can be killed by wearing of certain mask
An advert for facemasks in the UK has been banned for claiming to "kill" Covid-19.
The website for Evaq facemasks stated that it was the "only mask independently proven to kill Covid-19 on contact".
The Advertising Standards Authority has ruled the advert as misleading, adding there is a lack of evidence to back up the claim.
