Over Half A Billion Euro In Cryptocurrency Stolen By Hackers

Poly Network say so far, nearly €5 million returned

Over €507 million euro of cryptocurrency has been stolen by hackers in what is believed to be one of the biggest attacks of its kind.

Poly Network, a blockchain site which allows tokens to be swapped, has posted an open letter asking those responsible to "establish communication" to "work out a solution".

It added the hackers have stolen from "the people", and says it would be "unwise" to engage in further transactions.

The company has tweeted that nearly €5 million worth of crypto has been returned.

So far, we have received a total value of $4,772,297.675 assets returned by the hacker.
