Outage lasted 6 hours
Facebook restored its services last night, after a major outage that lasted for 6 hours.
The technical glitch also took down the company's platforms, WhatsApp and Instagram - hitting more than 3 billion combined users.
The social media giant is blaming a "faulty configuration change".
The falling share price wiped almost €41 billion off its value.
