Authorities in India are attempting to evacuate hundreds of thousands of people, as a powerful storm moves towards its western coast.

Cyclone Tauktae is expected to hit the Gujarat, a western state, later.

6 people in the south of the country have been killed.

The weather is already led to the suspension of some vaccination efforts, as India battles with a surge in Covid-19 cases.
