Debit & credit card details compromised by hackers
In Britain, thousands of British Airways customers will receive compensation payouts, following a data breach in 2018
The airline admitted details, including debit and credit card numbers, had been compromised by hackers who diverted passengers to a fake website.
The airline accepts no liability under the terms of a resolution agreement.
However BA could reportedly face claims in excess of €900,000.
