Ralph Beckett-trained joint favourite records resounding Curragh victory

'Westover' has stormed to victory in the 2022 Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at the Curragh, the premier Flat race on the Irish racing calendar,

The Ralph Beckett-trained 11 to 8 joint favourite powered home in the Group 1 showpiece, with champion jockey Colin Keane in the saddle.

Joseph O'Brien’s 18 to 1 shot 'Piz Badile' was second, with 'French Claim' third at odds of 16 to 1
