Tipperary Defeat Cork To Win 29th All Ireland Hurling Championship

They beat the Rebels by 15 points

Tipperary's hurlers are waking up as All-Ireland Hurling champions for a 29th time.

Liam Cahill's side outscored Munster and League winners Cork by 3-14 to 2-points in the second-half yesterday to secure a 15-point win over the Rebels.

Darragh McCarthy scored 1-13 for the Premier, with John McGrath adding 2-2 and also winning the penalty for McCarthy's goal.
