The Kildare Senior Footballers advanced to the semi final, of the Leinster Championship yesterday evening, with a two-point win over Westmeath.
The full time score was Kildare 2-17 Westmeath 21 points.
Kildare will play the winner of today’s quarter final between Laois and Louth.
That game throws-in in Newbridge at 3 o’clock.
Wicklow play Dublin at 2, and Offaly play Meath at 2.30.
Elsewhere yesterday, the U20 hurlers beat Kerry 3-17 to 2-14, but the Kerry minor hurlers beat Kildare 2-16 to 2-8.
