Stars Of Rugby Launch Interactive Rugby Experience In Limerick

It's hope up to 100 thousand visitors will visit every year

Stars of world rugby are launching a six-storey interactive rugby experience in Limerick today.

Johnny Sexton, Bryan Habana and Ciara Griffin are at the International Rugby Experience.

It's hoped the 30 million euro project will attract 100-thousand visitors to the Treaty City every year.

The construction of the museum has been made possible by a €30m donation from the JP McManus charitable foundation.

The museum was due to open last autumn, but Covid-19 public health restrictions slowed down construction.

However, despite these setbacks, the museum is now ready to open to the public.

Rugby legend Paul O'Connell says the interactive experience adds to what Limerick already has to offer:
