Sandro Tonali To Travel With Newcastle To Face Wolves Despite Ban

The ban is yet to be ratified by FIFA, so therefore Newcastle would be within their rights to play him.

Yesterday the Italian FA announced the midfielder faced a 10-month ban for breaking rules on gambling, but there's been no official ratification of the suspension by FIFA.

Newcastle manager Eddie Howe says they're in limbo over Sandro Tonali and he's planning on playing him in the Premier League this weekend.

Howe says if any good can come of the situation - he hopes that education and support of young players can be improved.
