Rory McIlroy Among Six Nominees For The BBC's Sports Personality Of The Year

He completed his Grand Slam in April when he won the Masters at Augusta.

Rory McIlroy is among the six nominees for the BBC's Sports Personality of the Year award for 2025.

The county Down native completed the career Grand Slam in April when he won the Masters at Augusta.

Formula One World Champion Lando Norris has also received the nod, as has Darts World Champion Luke Littler.

English footballers Hannah Hampton and Chloe Kelly also make the shortlist along with England rugby star Ellie Kildunne.
