The former Leicester City and Chelsea player has retired at the age of 33.
Danny Drinkwater, one of the heroes of Leicester's shock Premier League win - has retired at the age of 33.
The midfielder's decision to call time on his career comes just six years after a 35-million pound move to Chelsea.
Drinkwater, who last played on loan for Reading in 2022, won three England caps.
