Portarlington's Nicole Turner finished third in the Women's 50-metre freestyle S-6 heat at the Paralympics in Paris and is now through to the final, which takes places this evening.
Turner previously won silver at the Tokyo Paralympics.
Dearbhaile Brady did not qualify.
Róisín Ní Riain was fourth in her heat of the Women's 100-metre Butterfly S-13, which was good enough to reach the final.
