New Proposals From The Football Review Committee To Go Before GAA Special Congress On Saturday

Votes will be taken on the introduction of the rules on a permanent basis.

A tweak to the two-point rule in gaelic football is among the proposals from The Football Review Committee that will go before Saturday's GAA Special Congress, where votes will be taken on the introduction of the rules on a permanent basis.

They're seeking to change the wording of the rule to stop a touch from a goalkeeper or defender turning a two-point shot into a one-point score.

The FRC has also suggested play ending on the hooter at the conclusion of each half, unless a shot is in flight or a dead ball has been awarded.
