Monday am Sport Update: Wins for Kildare Footballers and Hurlers

Hurlers on course for McDonagh Cup final; footballers two from two in Tailteann Cup; Salah makes 300th Liverpool Premier League appearance tonight.

Kildare hurlers followed up last weekend’s Joe McDonagh win over Carlow by beating Laois in O’Moore Park by 4-20 to 1-18 

Kildare play Down next weekend: a win will see them into the final.

On Saturday, the footballers had their 2nd Tailteann Cup win, beating Tipperary 3-19 to 1-11

Daniel Flynn who was a late replacement for Daragh Kirwan, was outstanding: scoring 2-4 

Alex Beirne scored 1-5. Together Flynn and Beirne scored a total of 3-9 of Kildare’s 3-19 

Next up for Kildare is Sligo at a neutral venue: date & time to be decided
