Mona McSharry has qualified for the final of the 100metre breaststroke at the Olympics in Tokyo.
The 20 year-old from Sligo finished fourth in her semi-final to qualify in eighth overall and become only the second Irish swimmer ever to make an Olympic final.
McSharry clocked a time of 1 minute 6.59 seconds to advance to tomorrow's final.
Ellen Walshe goes in the women's 200 metre individual medley just before 12, while Brendan Hyland is in action just before that in the Men's 200 metre butterfly.
