Full time score at Manguard Park was Kildare 1-21 Kerry 1-14.

The Kildare senior hurlers registered the first win of their Division 2A campaign against Kerry yesterday.

Having led by a single point at the break, goalkeeper Paddy McKenna's converted penalty kick started the second half scoring for Kildare who went on to win by 1-21 to 1-14.

The hurlers are back in action on Friday evening against Carlow in Manguard Park.
