Leixlip centre-back Andrew Omobamidele has been ruled of the Republic of Ireland's upcoming friendlies with Hungary and Portugal due to injury.
Under-21 international Bosun Lawal had been training with the senior side but will now take his place in the squad for tomorrow night's game with Hungary at the Aviva Stadium.
