Kildare Camogie Team Hit Out At County Board 'Disrespect' After Decision To Withdraw Them From All-Ireland Championship

The group claim the County Board sent them a WhatsApp message to say they had been withdrawn

The Kildare Camogie team has hit out at what they say is the "disrespectful" county board decision to withdraw them from the All-Ireland intermediate championship against their wishes.

The Intermediate Camogie panel have called on clubs across the county for support, in their bid to be reinstated to this year's All Ireland Championship.

They say they’ve been angered and distressed by the County Board's decision to remove them from the Championship.

The group claim the County Board WhatsApped them to say they had been withdrawn, the County Board stated that no further comment would be made.

The panel claim a squad charter had been breached, and they are seeking the minimum requirements to be met.
