Stuart McCloskey is to start, as Garry Ringrose is injured.
Stuart McCloskey has been restored to the Ireland starting fifteen to face Italy tomorrow in the Six Nations.
He replaces Garry Ringrose who is suffering with a calf injury.
Jimmy O’Brien takes the place of McCloskey among the replacements.
Ireland attack coach Mike Catt says the change won’t affect how Ireland approach the game.
Meanwhile, the IRFU have led the tributes to Tom Tierney, who has died at the age of just 46.
A former player with Connacht, Munster, Leicester Tigers and others, he also won eight caps for Ireland.
As a coach he led the Ireland women’s team to Six Nations success in 2015.
