Former Formula One team owner and TV pundit Eddie Jordan has passed away at the age of 76, his family has announced.
The Dubliner, who founded Jordan Grand Prix and led the team to four F1 victories between 1991 and 2005, died peacefully in Cape Town on March 20, 2025, surrounded by family.
Jordan had revealed in late 2024 that he was battling an aggressive form of cancer affecting his bladder, prostate, spine, and pelvis. He used his platform to encourage others to seek early medical advice.
A key figure in F1, Jordan's influence on the sport will be deeply missed.
