Eadestown's Tadhg Beirne To Captain The Lions On Saturday Morning

Eadestown’s Tadhg Beirne will captain the Lions for their final warm-up game before the Test series with Australia.

He'll skipper the tourists against an Australian and New Zealand Invitational side in Adelaide on Saturday.

Beirne partners James Ryan in an all-Irish second-row, Hugo Keenan is at full-back with Mack Hansen on the wing.

Owen Farrell has been named amongst the replacements and could make his 19th appearance for the Lions.

Jack Crowley will start at out-half for Ireland's second summer tour match against Portugal on Saturday.

Interim head coach Paul O'Connell has made five changes from the win over Georgia, with Alex Kendellen making his first appearance for Ireland in the back-row.

Tom Ahern, Suncroft’s Cian Prendergast and Shayne Bolton also come in to start.
