Clonmullion’s 4 goals were all scored by Jody Dillon – 2 in each half
The Athy club led 2 nil at half time with goals from Dillon on 10 and 40 minutes
They added a third mid way through the 2nd half again from Dillon, before Clane pulled one back on 86 minutes.
But, the result was rarely in doubt and Clonmullion put the icing on the Lumsden cake with a 4th from Dillon in the 94th minute
And, they had a Cody Mulhall penalty saved by Clane ‘keeper Seán Brennan very early in the 2nd half.
Despite the scoreline, The Mull will again thank goalkeeper Michael Lawless for excellent stewardship of his area, as he’s done all season.
The win wraps up a marvellous season for the Brian Kenny managed side, which retained its Senior Division League title with a last match of the season win over neighbours and runners-up
