Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has been sanctioned by the UK government.

The Russian oligarch has had his assets frozen over his links to Vladimir Putin.

The measures will put the sale of the club on hold, while only season ticket holders will be able to attend games.

Abramovich has been trying to sell Chelsea since Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
