A Number Of County Teams Are In Championship Action This Weekend In The Local GAA Scene

Kfm will have live commentary on the action

It’s another busy weekend on the local GAA scene, with a number of county teams in championship action.

On Sunday at 1.45, the senior footballers play Louth in the Leinster semi final.

Glenn Ryan’s side must reach the final to play in the All Ireland series this summer, otherwise it’s the Tailteann Cup.

Kfm will have live commentary of the game with Ger McNally and Philie Wolfe, in association with Hanlon Concrete Robertstown.

At 2 o’clock on Sunday, the women footballers play Meath in round two of the Leinster Championship.

Tomorrow, at 1 o’clock, the hurlers are at home to Derry in the Christy Ring Cup in Hawkfield, while the minor hurlers play Kerry at 3.30.

Tonight, in the Leinster U20 hurling championship, Kildare play Laois at 7.30.
