Up-Dated Mica Redress Scheme Won't Go Before Cabinet Until Next Week.

Talks between stakeholders are continuing.

An updated redress scheme around Mica won't now go to Cabinet next week.

The new scheme has been delayed while discussions between the Housing Minister and the Attorney General, as well as interest groups, are continuing.

A Cabinet sub-committee to deal with the issue will be held next week.

However, it may be two weeks before any final proposals go to Cabinet.
