The 1st Batch Of Covid 19 Vaccinations Purchased From Romania Have Arrived.

540,000 doses were received today.

The first batch of Covid vaccines purchased from Romania has arrived in Ireland.

It formed part of the largest weekly delivery of vaccines to the country.

HSE chief executive Paul Reid says 540,000 doses were received today.

Separately, an immunologist says those with compromised immune systems should be prioritised for a booster vaccine.

However, Dr Elizabeth Ryan from the University of Limerick says it's too soon for the wider population to be considered for the additional jab
