One member told an Oxford seminar that some survivor testimony was discounted.

The Tanaiste says there's "no valid reason" why members of the Mother & Baby Homes commission of investigation shouldn't face questions by TDs and Senators about their report.

Professor Mary Daly, one of its members, told an Oxford seminar yesterday that testimony from some survivors was discounted.

She said it was because anything contained in the final report had to meet "robust legal standards" of evidence.

Leo Varadkar says commission members should come before the Oireachtas to answer questions - and meet survivors to address their concerns:
