Several Fianna Fáil TDs Angry At Govt. Plans To Send Ministers To Church Service Marking Partition.

Queen Elizabeth is also due to attend the inter-denominational service in Armagh later this month.

Its reported several Fianna Fail TDs are angry at the govnerment's decision to send two ministers to a church service to commemorate the partition of Ireland.

The Sunday Times reports that the TDS, who include Barry Cowen, Brendan Smith, Willie O'Dea and Niamh Smyth, say they're getting a backlash from constituents over the decision.

Foreign Affairs Minister Simon Coveney and the Fianna Fail government chief whip, Jack Chambers, are due to attend the event, which President Michael D Higgins has refused to attend.

Queen Elizabeth is also due to attend the inter-denominational service in Armagh later this month.
