Seanad To Debate Misscarriage And Fertility Leave

The Seanad will debate the Labour Party Bill for paid miscarriage and fertility treatment leave tomorrow.

It'll be discussed by the INTO and the National Women's Council of Ireland at a Labour public meeting this evening.

The party's rights spokesperson Marie Sherlock says the leave is about creating "more compassionate workplaces" for workers through what is often a "very lonely experience".
