Ryanair Defends Charging Over €600 For Flights From The UK To Ireland

The low-fares airline has denied it's profiteering from the transport difficulties caused by the closure of Holyhead port.

Ryanair says it's charging over 500 pounds sterling for flights from the UK to Ireland this week, only because of the passenger cap at Dublin Airport.

Michael O'Leary says fares wouldn't be at the record levels being seen now, if outgoing Transport Minister Eamon Ryan had prioritised people in the way he has the parcels stuck at Holyhead.
