Poll: Majority Want Micheál Martin To Step Down As FF Leader When Varadar Become Taoiseach.

Under the coalition deal, Varadkar will return to the top job next December

A new opinion poll has shown a majority of voters want the Taoiseach Micheál Martin to step down as Fianna Fail leader, when his term as Taoseiach ends next year.

Under the coalition deal Tainiste Leo Varadkar will return to the top job next December - and Mr. Martin would become Tainiste.

However the poll in the mornings Mail on Sunday shows 54% want him to resign as party leader - with a significant 39% of Fianna Fail voters also in favour of him quitting.
