As temperature's continue to soar, pet owners are being warned to be mindful of their furry friends.

The advice includes topping up water bowls frequently, and keeping paws away from hot sand and hot pavements.

The DSPCA says how heatstroke in pets can cause seizures, organ damage, internal bleeding, coma and even death.

The experts say it's a good idea to keep 'walkies' until later in the evening when the temperature cools..... and NEVER leave your pets alone in a car.
