India and Pakistan have agreed a "full and immediate ceasefire" according to the US President.
Pakistan had launched a military operation against India last night - with what it called "retaliatory strikes", that's understood to have killed 13 people.
Posting on Truth Social, Donald Trump says the deal comes after a "long night of talks" mediated by the US.
Mr Trump went on to congratulate both countries "on using common sense and great intelligence".
Secretary of State Marco Rubio had been holding regular calls with the Indian foreign minister and Pakistan's Prime Minister since April.
