No Plans To Withdraw Irish Embassy Staff From Ukraine

New Zealand, Japan and the US tell their citizens to leave the country.

The Department of Foreign Affairs says it has no plans to withdraw Irish Embassy staff from Kyiv, at this time.

Concerns around a potential invasion of Ukraine are growing as more countries tell their citizens to leave.

New Zealand has joined the UK, the US, Japan and Australia in urging people get out, as Russian troops continue to gather on the border.

The British Minister for Armed Forces says a Russian invasion's "feasible" at any moment - but he says UK troops won't engage in conflict if war breaks out.

US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, says he'll speak to his Russian counterpart today - and that America's prepared for either diplomacy or "aggression" from Moscow.
