Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Junction 1 Southbound of the M1/M50 slip road in Dublin, on Sunday evening.
The single vehicle collision occurred shortly after 7pm. A motorcyclist, a man aged in his 40s, was later pronounced deceased at the scene.
His body was later removed to Beaumont Hospital, where a post-mortem will take place in due course.
The road has since re-opened following a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and who were travelling in the area at the time, are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
