Demonstrators want new facility free of religious control.

Protesters have gathered outside the Dail demanding the new National Maternity Hospital is free of religious control.

The demonstration organised by ''Our Maternity Hospital'' is calling for the hospital to be built on land not owned by a company with religious affiliations.
