Mandatory Masks For Air Travel Have Been Scrapped In Europe

It will come into effect from next week.

A European recommendation for people to wear face masks for air travel has been scrapped.

The decision by the European Aviation Safety Agency and European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control will take effect from next week.

They say it's down to the current levels of vaccination and natural immunity, along with the lifting of restrictions across member states.

It's now up to individual governments and airlines to update their own rules.
