Foreign Affairs Minister says the UK has created a "red line" barrier on the Northern Ireland protocol.

The Irish government hopes their British counterparts are open to maintaining a "working relationship" when it comes to the North.

It's after the Foreign Affairs Minister Simon Coveney accused the British Government on Twitter of creating a new "red line" barrier on the Northern Ireland protocol.

The UK's Brexit Minister David Frost responded by saying he preferred "not to do negotiations by Twitter".
