Just over 2.5% in September.
Ireland's mortgage rates are currently the eight lowest in the Eurozone.
They decreased from 2.64% in August, to 2.58% in September.
According to Bonkers.ie, Ireland was the only country to see the average rate decline in that period.
The comparison website notes this is due to the slowness of the main lenders in Ireland to pass on recent European Central Bank rate increases.
