Ireland Braces For Severe Weather With Emergency Measures in Place

With Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather sharing that higher ground could get up to 10 centimeters of snow

The cold weather emergency plan for rough sleepers has been activated as various status yellow and orange snow, ice and rain warnings have been issued for the country.

The National Directorate for Fire and Emergency Management says teams will be on standby and are urging people to check on elderly, vulnerable and isolated neighbours.
