Gardai in Dublin are investigating following a fatal stabbing in Tallaght.
A man in his 20s died following a serious assault yesterday evening.
Caoimhseach Connolly reports:
"Gardai responded to a serious assault at Mac Uilliam Road at around 7.15pm yesterday.
A 25 year old man was taken to Tallaght Hospital in a serious condition - he later died from his injuries.
The scene has been preserved and the State Pathologist has been notified.
A postmortem examination is due to take place later today.

Gardaí are appealing to any witnesses to come forward, and for any drivers who were passing the Mac Uilliam Road area between 6.30 and 7.15 yesterday evening who may have dash cam footage to contact Tallaght Garda Station. "
