Hacking Attempts On Critical Infrastructure Worldwide Increased By 70%- Irish Cyber Security Firm Finds

12 ministries in Norway- which is a major gas producing country- were targeted by a cyber attack last week.

An Irish cyber security firm says hacking attempts on critical infrastructure across the world has increased by 70 per cent in the past year.

It's believed the huge increase in attacks on operational technology and industrial control systems is related to geopolitical issues, such as the war in Ukraine.

12 ministries in Norway- which is a major gas producing country- were targeted by a cyber attack last week.
