GSK Sets Up Enhanced Information Service On Vaccine Trials For Former Mother & Baby Home Residents.

GlaxoSmithKline engaged in vaccine trials in the homes between 1934 and 1973.

GlaxoSmithKline says it has set up an enhanced information service for former residents of mother and baby homes regarding vaccine trials.

The company says it's in response to issues raised following the publication of the Commission of Investigation’s report.

The Commission of Investigation report stated GlaxoSmithKline had engaged in vaccine trials in Mother and Baby homes between 1934 and 1973.

This enhanced service includes a more simplified information request service, and the publication of trial summary documents for nine separate vaccine trials, as well as two infant milk formula trials.

GSK says it recognises that many survivors of mother and baby homes are understandably seeking to access their personal information.
