
Green Party TD Neasa Hourigan says she plans to go against government and support the Sinn Fein motion on the National Maternity Hospital.
The Chair of the Green Party's indicated disciplinary action would be taken against TDs who vote against the government.
It's after TDs Neasa Hourigan and Patrick Costello said they would vote with Sinn Féin, on a motion in the Dail on the new Maternity Hospital.
That's if a vote is taken on the issue this evening.
Green Party Senator and Chairperson Pauline O'Reilly had this to say when asked if a disciplinary process would be triggered as a result of a vote:
It's understood the current Government position is to abstain on the motion before the Dail this evening.
Justice Minister Helen McEntee accepts that not everyone would be happy with the deal:
