A two-week pause in the introduction of ticketing for nightclubs has been shot down by the Government.
Industry reps had sought the delay to allow them to put the infrastructure in place to take online bookings for access to nightclubs.
At a meeting this afternoon they were told by Department officials the new regulations will be published tonight, and signed tomorrow.
They will require ticketing for entry, booking at least an hour before arrival and no congregation outside venues.
