Funeral Has Taken Place Of Dublin Cllr. Anthony Flynn

The 35 year-old died last Wednesday, in tragic circumstances

The funeral of Dublin City Councillor Anthony Flynn has heard he was an "icon for the homeless community".

The co-founder of Inner City Helping Homeless died in tragic circumstances last week.

Mr. Flynn's body was discovered, in tragic circumstances, at an apartment in East Wall, Dublin last Wednesday.

He was was the founder of the charity Inner City Helping Homeless, and was elected to Dublin City Council in 2019.

Shortly before his death, Cllr. Flynn had been suspended from his position as Chief Executive of the homeless charity, due to a Garda investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct.
