Claims banks are failing personal customers
The Financial Services Union says banks are deliberately making in-person banking more difficult so customers will be forced online.
The union, which represents staff in the financial sector, claims banks are failing their personal customers, small firms and their staff.
It follows AIB's proposal last month to turn 70 of its branches cashless - which included Athy, Celbridge & Edenderry - a decision the bank later rowed back on.
