Kenneth Murphy says President put in a 'very difficult position'
The Former Director of the Law Society says the President was put in a 'very difficult position' over an event to mark the centenary of partition.
Michael D Higgins was invited to an Armagh Church service next month to celebrate the creation of Northern Ireland, but declined.
He has since been defending his decision, stating the events title was "not a neutral statement politically".
