A joint report says "practically" the whole planet suffered heatwaves in 2023.

The World Health Organisation says Climate Change risks reversing "decades" of progress towards better human health.

A joint report says "practically" the whole planet suffered heatwaves in 2023.

It says extreme high temperatures aggravate air pollution, which is responsible for an estimated 7 million premature deaths a year.

The groups, including the WHO, have called for "transformational change" across health and climate sectors.
